1st ANNUAL HOLIDAY WISH LIST

1. A happy, healthy and safe holiday season for everybody, with a few 70 degree days thrown in so we can all get on our bikes and enjoy some winter riding.

2. Drivers who actually pay more attention to their driving than to talking on their cell phones, texting or doing just about everything other than paying attention to other drivers on the road.

3. Automobile drivers who actually look after they’ve stopped at a stop sign, to see if there are any motorcycles coming, as this would prevent many accidents and I would never again have to hear “I looked, but never saw the motorcycle coming”!

4. Drivers who look to see if there are any vehicles coming toward them before making a left hand turn directly in front of an oncoming motorcycle, wouldn’t that be nice!

5. This one’s a big one … I would like everyone pull out their insurance policy and actually read the Declaration Page so you understand what you are really covered for and what you are not covered for.

6. Insurance companies that would actually explain that motorcycle policies do not include medical benefits unless you opt to add this coverage onto your policy, unlike automobiles which are required by law to have at least $5,000 in medical coverage.

7. I would like everyone to understand that if you are involved in a Pennsylvania motorcycle accident, on your bike, as opposed to in your automobile, you are more likely to be seriously injured. Therefore, your motorcycle insurance should be just as good as, if not better than, the coverage on your automobile.

8. Uninsured and underinsured motorist coverage on everyone’s insurance policy so you are no longer at the mercy of the insurance decisions made by a negligent party.

9. For clients to stop giving “recorded statements” to the other persons insurance company before calling me, in the belief that the other insurance company actually cares about you more than defending their own insured.

10. And finally, a one day sale where everyone can choose the new bike of their dreams for $500! Hey, it’s a “wish list” so why not!

Wishing you and yours, a happy and healthy holiday season!

See you all next year!
